THE PRESIDENT'S CORNER
Students, Faculty, Staff, Alumni, and Friends!
Foremost, I would like to give honor to the Creator, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for allowing me the opportunity to preside over a distinguished group of individuals who share the same passion about Shaw University as I do. Also, I must thank Leon D. Parker, Trustee Member, for encouraging me to join the Society as a Pilgrim two years ago.
I must say that the Shaw Man & Shaw Woman has given me expectations that keep me driven to do well day in and day out. The Society in its entirety has helped me to grow far beyond the capacity of what I expected as an individual, student, and professional. Each day I continue to strive to be my best because with the brand of the Society there is no other way to be.
I am most certainly looking forward to serving in the 2007-2008 academic school year. It is my plan to help the Society fulfill its new motto “The Dedicated, The Professional, and The Aware” with a calendar of activities and events.
Furthermore, I am excited about reaching back into the Raleigh community by developing meaningful relationships that help others understand the true spirit of Shaw!
